Unlike other novice or entry-level machines from Singer, this one does not surprise buyers with additional features or good quality build. With this machine, you really do get what you pay for, but that might suit some beginners looking to try out a new hobby.

The machine itself and many of the accessories are made from a cheap plastic, including the snap-on feet and the arms; and do not provide the user with any assurance about its reliability and durability.
